If you like to ride a bicycle, then this tour is for your. On this tour you will have a very great time to explore the beauty and landscapes of Malawi. Your tour will start from Lilongwe where you will have to setup everything and getting ready for this amazing adventure.

Itinerary

DAY 1:Arrive to Lilongwe airport/transfer to the hotel, our guide give briefing for next day. Then we have dinner/overnight.

DAY 2:RIFT VALLEY DESCENT TO MAU MISSION. {65 KM}
After breakfast we get transfer to the starting point on the edge of the rift valley escarpment.we start cycling through amazing scenery with views of great rift valley.We pass to the village farms and array of birds and plants.we cycle up and down up to mau mission.we overnight at cottage.

DAY 3:THE SOUTHERN LAKESHORE{75 KM}
Cycle from mau mission up to the southern of lake Malawi .The journey take us through of many tiny hamlet, as we head toward to the peninsula that bring us into the lake at cape Maclear. we stop to the local farm for lunch. this final section of cycling is through the cape Maclear National park, a rich landscape of woodland, we close the hills and descend to the golden beach and boulder-strewn headlands. here we stay in en-suite chalets, each with its own terrace facing the beach of lake.

DAY 4:CAPE MACLEAR MARINE NATIONAL PARK.
Today you have many choices, such as swimming ,snorkeling,canoe,relaxing on beach or cycling through the fishing village.

DAY 5:SOUTHERN LAKESHORE TO MANGOCHI.{68 KM}
Cycling cross the hills of cape maclear park, heading south to follow the final stretch of lake Malawi shoreline.as lake narrows its also becomes even more populated by small fishing village and you see huge rack of tiny, brightly coloured capenta being dried by the roadside. our ride spin a long through the village on a quiet road, heading toward the small provincial town of Mangochi; we aim to get there by early afternoon, so we relax and get lunch and walking around.our guide can load up the bikes to transfer to zomba plateau, this not only set us up for the next day of biking but means we get 2 nights at kuchawe inn perched high up above zomba town on the wooded slopes that overlook the valley.

DAY 6: EXPLORING THE ZOMBA PLATEAU.{30 /40 KM}
This is a flexible day where you can choose to spend some time relaxing, enjoying the beautiful walks to nearby waterfalls and summits or cycling for circuit of the plateau.
The cycling route takes in view at every point of the campass as we cycle ridge all way around the plateau, you will see lake Malawi to the north,mulanje mountain to the south-east and the hills of Mozambique to the west. For those who want to extend the ride we can snip down to the zomba town and explore market selling everything from vegetable to parts for old morris minors.whatever you choose to do our guide will be able to advise and assist you.or you can relax to the kuchuwe terrace and looking view across the Rift valley.

DAY 7:PHALOMBE PLAIN TO MULANJE.{87 KM}
The route take us right up to the sheer-sided slope of Malawi most impressive mountain massif.the first section is easy blast down the slope of the zomba plateau before pedal out into the plain on a thin strip of tarmac.the road turn to hard packed dirt and the shack and street stalls are replaced by thatched settlement,children tending cattle and open scrub land.we ride all the wat to the Mulanje massif and through the distance may seem high for less experience.it great day to cycle that bit further than normal for most of the groups we cycle up to the village of pholombe, at the foot of the mulanje massif.

DAY 8: MOUNTAINS, WATERFALLS AND PLANTATIONS{ 56 KM}
This morning your free to choose relaxing, explore or a bit of both.you could relax next to the likabula river, have a swim or hike up to the magnificent zwilankalamba waterfall.the falls go straight into a large pool which is an ideal location for a mid –morning picnic and cooling swim.when you return to the forest lodge your guide will have loaded the vehicle,checked the bike and ensure that you are all ready for the afternoon cycle.The rolling road through to the slope of thyolo mountain takes us deep into tea growing territory as we leave mulanje mountain behind.Tea is still picked here in the tradition way and depend on the time of year. You will see the workers with basket on their back,packing at speed as they walk through the plantations.our destination is the satemwa tea estate.with is collection of extend farm house building and cottage dotted around the centre of its vest land

DAY 9:THE SOUTH OF MALAWI.{64 KM}
Malawi is home of Africa finest tea estates all around are rolling hills thick with green plantation farm open plains.we spend night here at the old tea planter lodge to give us time to explore the unique corner of the country.there are trails through the fields to cycle.or you can hike up thyolo mountain or cycle down to the dam.we can have chance to taste a fine tea from estate.

DAY 10:THE ROAD TO LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK{ 74 KM}
An early give us the chance to cycle out of the tea estate and head north towards limbe then toward to the shire river crossing at liwonde.this is our final day on bike and it links together much of what we seen. From tea estate up downto the final glimpse of high rift valley summit before journeying on towards the open bush and wildlife filled plain. this road ride brings us all the way to the gates of liwonde national park. this is Malawi premier wildlife reserve. here we load up the bikes and prepare to go on safari. we can have our lunch before continues.the journey through the park from the gate take through wildlife-rich plains, riverside, feeding ground and open wood land.expect to see elephants, hippo, antelope, and more as we make our way to the luxury camp.this will be our base for 2 night as you sleep in comfortable bed in large chalet –style tents with hippo grazing on river bank just beyond.

DAY 11: SAFARI AT LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK.
This morning you can enjoy a dawn safari,perhaps by boat or vehicle ,even more exciting on food with a qualified guide and armed scout.walking through the African bush give you close encounters with the smaller but just as interesting animals and insert,and you can learn a bout the trees.the ancients traditions and old superstitions too.later afternoon you can choose to go on game drive or unique boat safari, taking in the wildlife from the river.this is one way to get exceptionally close to the animals.as well as the abundant birdlife which is famous.for today is a time to enjoy the beautiful surrounding and the abundant wildlife, whether just relaxing in the riverside bar or heading out to explore with expect guide.

DAY 12: EXPLORING LILONGWE.
This morning you can enjoy a final pre- breakfast safari heading out into the park.in open topped land rovers .we going to see the big game and stunning bird life. Then we load up and drive back to Lilongwe.we arrive in the city in lunch time.as you can explore the area, visit the old town market and see the bustling streets of the capital.lilongwe is an interesting and safe place to visit, and our guide can advise you on the best sight or best place to buy souvenirs, cafes or bars
